Researchers have studied the effect of Testofen in multiple human studies. One 8-week, placebo-controlled, clinical study showed positive results in three main areas:

1. Increase in free testosterone levels*. Typical free testosterone levels fall in the 5–50 pg/ml range.
Subjects taking Testofen evidenced a 99% increase in free testosterone after the 8-week period.

* Subjectson the placebo did not register a statistically significant increase in free testosterone levels.

2. Decrease in body fat*. Subjects taking Testofen experienced a statistically significant reduction in body
fat, as measured by skin-fold thickness in the thigh and biceps regions.* While skin-fold thickness decreased, subjects maintained the same body weight, which indicates an increase in muscle mass.*

3. Increase in muscle mass*. An additional muscle-mass measurement was conducted using Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) levels. BUN levels would be expected to drop if subjects had experienced a decline in muscle mass. Because BUN levels remained unchanged, while skin-fold thickness decreased, subjects were considered to have experienced in increase in muscle mass and a decrease in body fat.*

The following table summarizes the study findings in these three areas: muscle strength, total testosterone levels and free testosterone levels.

Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study conducted on 60 subjects and resulted in statistically significant improvements in overall male sexual health*.

The study used the DISF-SR index (the lead index in studies of sexual health) and measured the following variables:

  • Sexual cognition

  • Sexual arousal

  • Sexual experience

  • Ability to have an orgasm

  • Quality of sexual performance

  • Recovery time following sexual activity

  • Overall libido

  • General energy levels

Testofen showed statistically significant increases in DISF-SR parameters (including sexual arousal and orgasm). In addition, Testofen had a postive effect on 3 quality of life (QOL) parameters: muscle strength, energy levels, overall well-being.
