VG-Guard contains the yeast probiotic - S.cerevisiae CNCM I-3856 that has been used as a good yeast for relief of the symptoms of vaginal candida overgrowth condition such as excessive white discharge.

When to Take

The Difference

VG-Guard helps to aid clearance of Candida albican and helps to reduce the recurrence of White discharge condition. VG-Guard is suitable to take especially:

  • During antibiotics treatment - antibiotics kill endogenous vaginal flora, allowing antibiotic resistant pathogens such as Candida albican to flourish.

  • During stressful and fatigue time - Chronic stress and tiredness will lead to lower immune defences to fight against bad pathogens.

  • During an acute crisis of vaginal infection -       VG-Guard aid faster recovery by working as an adjuvant therapy with conventional drug treatment.

  • During contraceptive treatment - The use of an intrauterine device (IUD) and some contraceptive pills may accelerate candida growth.

Most probiotics in the market are bacteria strain of probiotic. VG-Guard is a unique strain of Yeast probiotic which is a family of baker's yeast.

The benefit of a yeast probiotic:

  • Having a bigger cell size - VG-Guard has bigger surface area compare to bacteria probiotic, this translates a smaller quantity count is needed to perform its beneficial effect.

  • Resistance to antibiotic - VG-Guard doesn't kill nor weaken by antibiotic treatment.

  • Acid resistance (Gastric acid, bile acid) - due to its bigger cell size and more robust cell wall, VG-Guard survive through stomach and bile acid environment.

  • Immune stimulation - VG-Guard has been proven to stimulate the body's own immune defences which is vital control and manage pathogens growth.
